Hey y’all! I thought I’d try something new. There have been a lot of changes running through my world recently. Some good and some not so good. You’ll be hearing all about these changes very soon. For now, let me introduce Sara’s Top 12! Once a month, I’ll bring you Sara’s Top 12 Recipes for a given topic. They won’t be MY recipes, but a collection of great recipes from amazing folks all over the world! April is National BLT month and I happen to think these recipes are the top 12 BLT recipes on the web today! Your mileage may vary and that’s Ok. Without beautiful diversity this world would be bland and boring! Shall we get started?
Number One: The Best BLT Ever
Certain things should not be messed with. Ever. This is one of those things. These are tips and tricks from Joy The Baker. Plus, Joy dips her bread in bacon fat. How can you not love that? Or her! BTW~ I have a serious blog-girl crush on Joy. I’ve never made anything from her cookbooks or her blog that wasn’t sensational! I love you Joy!
Number Two: Spicy Mayo and Fried Egg BLAT Sandwich
This spicy beauty comes to you from How Sweet Eats and I certainly wouldn’t say no to having this on my plate! I love the egg oozing out from the bread…. mmmm….
Number Three: Avocado BLT Pasta Salad
Not a sandwich, but still in the BLT family! This gorgeous salad comes to you from Kevin at Closet Cooking. I’ve been a fan of Kevin’s for a long time! He consistently puts out great stuff!
Number Six: The Ultimate BLT Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Not only is April National BLT month, it’s also National Grilled Cheese Month and this sandwich from Well Plated has both celebrations covered deliciously!
Number Eleven: 20 minute BLT Pasta Salad
Yes, it’s another pasta salad, but how can you resist a dinner that’s ready in 20 minutes? Plus, bacon. Never forget the bacon. This is from Baker by Nature and it’s perfect as a busy weeknight dinner!
Number Twelve: Parmesan Crisp BLT Sandwich
A simple and classic BLT sandwich from Just A Taste! They take it over the top with the parmesan crisps though. That little bit of extra cheesy crunch makes all the difference!
