Sometimes it feels this health journey is one step forward, then three steps back.
You know what? That’s ok! There is still that one step forward. The trying something different, the learning from mistakes, the willingness and mindset to not let one setback end your progress. It’s all growth and growth is good! No matter what the numbers on the scale (or your birth certificate) say! You can change at any age!
Thank goodness for not being caught up in the old mentality of “I gained weight this week, I can’t do this! I am a failure!” There are no failures, just learning opportunities. I have learned a lot about my eating habits in the last two weeks. I’ve learned more about my body and how it reacts. This is all knowledge I can take to move forward. One step forward. While I may not be 100% pleased with the scale today. It is a reflection of learning, making different choices and continuing to try, every single day. Because I am worth it!
