Hi friends! One of the things I love about all the different things I do (writing, blogging, podcasting etc) is meeting new people and most of the time, being able to share their food with you! This is true of the articles I write for “Sara’s Kitchen Adventures” and it’s especially true within the city I’ve called home for the last 29 years. You don’t need to go on a fancy trip to find great places to eat. Most of the time, you can find it in your own backyard.
Cast in point: Just this week I was invited to check out a brand new place called “Yeast N’ Flour Pizza.” It’s located in the downtown Ontario area, across from a newly developed amphitheater and park. City Hall and the City Library are close by too. It’s the perfect spot for a quick lunch during the week, or to hang out with friends and watch the game on the weekend!
Similar to Pieology, Yeast N’ Flour lets you build your own pizza or order one of their signature items. The crust is thin and crispy and everything gets baked in a special pizza oven shipped over from Italy just for this location!
Not only do they have pizza, they have subs, salads, hot wings and they have dessert pizza! Nutella anyone? They even have gluten-free crust options!
Yeast N’ Flour is building on a sports theme and there are TV’s all around so you won’t ever miss the big play or that great catch! The walls are a little sparse right now, but the owners assured me, they have big plans for decorating! I can’t wait to see it when it’s all finished!
Isn’t it cute? And of course, the pizza isn’t bad either!
So if you’re local, or planning a trip to Ontario soon, make plans to stop in and say hello to Michael and the crew! They’ll be happy to see you and make you a great pizza!
