Every day I find new inspiration in my life! A lightbulb moment on the face of one of my students inspires me to be a better teacher. Seeing someone pay-it-forward inspires me to give more of myself to those around me. Learning a new cooking technique that I experiment with until my family begs for mercy and requests (sometimes not too nicely) that I try something else for a while, inspires me to be a better cook! My husband, whom I’ve been with for the past 28 years, inspires me to reach for my dreams and constantly shows me the meaning of unconditional love.
Going to Duff Goldman’s CakeMix last week for Susan Whetzel’s S’more Cookbook launch party, has inspired me too! Not only am I excited about a new cookbook FULL of S’mores recipes, I am inspired to give away a piece of that evening!
That night we were each blessed with a copy of Susan Whetzels The S’more Cookbook. We decorated a S’more Cake and had fun getting to know each other. While we can’t decorate a cake together, we can do a cookbook giveaway and have some fun getting to know each other! Leave me a comment below, sharing your favorite S’mores memory. It can be anything from a favorite childhood memory about S’mores, camping, having S’mores with your kids or grandkids, or even your favorite way to eat a S’more! For each comment, you’ll be entered to win your very own copy of The S’mores Cookbook! The classic flavor combination of graham crackers, Hershey bars and toasted marshmallows is re-created and celebrated in a variety of different ways throughout this book. You’ll find recipes like S’mores Stuffed French Toast, Crock-Pot S’mores Brownies, S’mores Chocolate Sherbet, a S’more Tini and so much more! If you love S’mores, this cookbook is a must have!
There are other opportunities to win, but you have to leave a comment to qualify. The give-away will run from Tuesday Aug 20th, 2013 to Tuesday Aug 27th, 2013. A winner will be chosen by Rafflecopter and that person will be notified via Email and have 48 hours to respond. Easy Peasy! Unfortunately, this giveaway is open to US residents only, but don’t fret my Canadian/World friends! My next few giveaways are open to EVERYONE so stay tuned.
I’m looking forward to reading all your favorite S’more memories! Have fun and good luck!
So many good memories involving s’mores! I think my favorite would be my entire family huddled around the camp fire making s’mores and telling stories.
Favorite memory was as a kid making s’mores by the campfire! Melting the marshmallows over the fire, etc.!
Wow … a whole cookbook devoted to S’mores? My life would be complete!
My favorite s’mores memory was when I was a young kid. I was watching The Sandlot for the first time and the kids in the movie are making s’mores. I had never had one before and the movie made them look so good that I asked my dad to teach me how to make them. My dad went to the store got all the yummy goodies, and then came home put on the BBQ and showed me and my brother how to make them…. They were so GOOD!!!!
Seeing my dad with marshmallow all over his face!
My favorite s’mores memory is of me as a child going camping with my friends and making s’more by the fire!
That has to be my favorite way to make them too! So many wonderful memories! Good Luck Natasha. Thanks for entering and sharing!
My brother and I used to put a marshmallow on a fork and “toast” it over the gas flame on our mom’s stove; place the tasted mess on a graham cracker with some chocolate chips, top it off with another graham cracker and Voilà – homemade S’mores! So long ago!
My favorite s’more memory was watching my Italian daughter-in-law enjoy her first one with a super sized marshmallow in the middle! Could hardly get her mouth around it ;-)
