Hi friends! Welcome to the 3rd Annual Food Bloggers “Good Cookies” Cookies for Kids Cancer Valentine’s event! Last year I made Pink Meringue Cookies and the first year, I made these adorable Helping Hands Cookies I feel blessed and honored to be here again, sharing with you these Chocolate Shortbread Cookies! Big huge thanks to Julie from The Little Kitchen for putting this event together again.

This terrific group of bloggers want to make a difference in the fight against pediatric cancer and baking and sharing with you (and others) is the way we do it!

Did you know cancer is the #1 cause of death of children by disease in the U.S.? There are 40,000 U.S. children actively battling cancer right now. Less than 4% of the National Cancer Institute’s budget goes to all childhood cancer combined. As a Mother and Grandmother, it is important for me to support these families and the research that can help save the lives of children.

Our goal is to raise at least $3000, because these three companies: Dixie Crystals, Mediavine and OXO have each pledged to match our donations raised through this campaign up to $3000!
