Classic Meatloaf

This old-fashioned classic meatloaf gets it’s moisture from milk soaked bread crumbs and plenty of minced onions!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Spray a 13X9 inch loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.

In a large bowl, combine ground beef and pork sausage. Use your hands or a large, sturdy spoon. Set aside.

In a medium bowl, combine bread crumbs and milk. Allow the milk to soak into the bread crumbs until most of the liquid is absorbed.

Combine the meat, bread/milk mixture with the remaining ingredients (minus the ketchup) and stir until well incorporated.

Gently pat the meat mixture into a loaf and place in prepared pan.

Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. After 50 minutes, pour 1/2 cup ketchup over the top of the meatloaf in the pan. Cover with aluminum foil and continue to cook for another 10-15 minutes or until the meatloaf is completely cooked.

Allow to cool for 10 minutes before gently removing from the pan and cutting into slices for serving.
