The Week 95 Dinner Divas menu is here! Between Langostino Mac and Cheese, Roasted Orange Chicken Legs and an old fashioned Butterscotch Pudding recipe, I’m not sure where to begin this week. Everything looks so good!
Wait? What is Dinner Divas anyway?
Every Friday morning, a new menu plan is posted on the blogs of five fabulous bloggers: Pooks Pantry, Comfortably Domestic, The Speckled Palate, Pastry Chef Online and me! We are “The Dinner Divas!” Our posts consist of 5 dinner options, plus 2 extras. Those two extras could be side dishes, dessert, drinks, etc. The Dinner Divas weekly menu plan is designed to feature quick and easy recipes so you have the chance to make your shopping list and get organized for the coming week.
It’s so convenient to have new recipes right at your fingertips! Now that you know, are you ready to jump in? Let’s do it!
Dinner Divas Weekly Menu Plan: Week 95
Elevate your everyday macaroni and cheese with this delicious Langostino Mac and Cheese with Bacon and Chives from Pooks Pantry! The saltiness of the bacon and creaminess of the pasta sauce are the perfect pairing against delicate, buttery seafood. Plus, you deserve a little decadence for making it through Monday!
Sometimes you just need comfort food! This Creamy Onion Soup from Comfortably Domestic has loads of tender sweet onions, swimming in a flavorful, blended cheese base. This soup is a soothing main dish meal or it can be served as a side dish! Either way, don’t forget the oyster crackers!
Vodka, Marinara Sauce, Heavy Cream and Parmesan Cheese… sounds like the beginnings of a beautiful friendship! Pastry Chef Online shows us how to make Vodka Sauce at home! Jenni’s simple directions for how to marry the sauce with any type of pasta is very helpful too.
This Seared Scallops with Raspberry Gastrique from The Speckled Palate looks and sounds fancy, but is incredibly easy to make. It’s always nice to have an easy, yet fancy romantic dish to make for date night, especially with Valentine’s Day coming up. Just look at that lovely pink color!
If you’re anything like me, once Friday rolls around, you’re ready for something simple, yet satisfying to put on the table. These Roasted Orange Chicken Legs will have dinner ready in under an hour so you’re free to celebrate the weekend ahead!
As soon as I saw this recipe, I was taken back to my childhood! Classic Butterscotch Pudding from Pastry Chef Online will have you eating from the bowl with a spoon and not caring if anyone else gets a taste!
And because every weekend should have cake… this dairy-free Paloma Citrus Cake with Tequila-Lime Glaze from The Speckled Palate should be made immediately! This dense baked good, inspired by the classic tequila, lime and grapefruit Paloma cocktail, makes a perfect dessert for any occasion, you know, like Saturday.
So what will you make this week? Anything reach out and tickle your fancy? If you make any of these dishes, please be sure to tag us on social media using the hashtag #DinnerDivas. We’d love to see and share your creations!
I hope this weekly menu plan provides inspiration and makes life a little easier… one dish at a time!
Until next time friends, live life deliciously!
