Hi friends! November is National Pecan Month! Pecan Pie has always been one of my favorite desserts for Thanksgiving. Believe it or not, there are other ways to enjoy Pecans. My little bakers heart knows about pecan cookies and shortbread, pies and bars, ooey-gooey cinnamon rolls and bread pudding stuffed with pecans and topped with bourbon vanilla glaze… I’m getting hungry… candied pecans and plenty of other sweet treats. The things I’m less knowledgeable about (because I don’t use them as often) are the savory applications for pecans. I know they’re delicious in salads, but you can crust meat with them, use them with rice dishes and more!
